Coaching - unlocking your hidden potential
Dan Burningham
My coaching focuses on unlocking hidden potential through creative approaches that challenge routine thinking, inspire fresh perspectives and build the confidence to achieve lasting results.
I draw on my experience as a partner in a successful healthcare consultancy and many years in NHS senior management. My approach responds to frequent organisational change, rising performance expectations and high levels of stress in the workplace. To help address this, I like to create an emphasis on the importance of humour, authenticity and the value of accepting imperfection and mistakes.
Drawing on my training in the arts therapies, Gestalt therapy and coaching, I balance attending to the here and now with a sense of future direction through meaningful goal setting.
A Creative Approach
A Space to Explore
My coaching creates space to explore the connection between your whole self and the self you bring to work. This includes uncovering what motivates you, what sometimes gets lost or hidden, and how everyday pressures shape the way you respond.
Creative Ways of Understanding
Drawing on arts therapies, Gestalt principles and creative techniques such as object work, writing, story-making and role play, I help clients view challenges from fresh perspectives and discover new possibilities beyond routine thinking.
Direction That Feels Real
My approach balances attention to the present with a sense of direction through meaningful goal-setting. Humour, acceptance of imperfection and curiosity play an important role in building confidence, rediscovering joy and developing new ways of engaging with work and relationships.
